The wait for Ram Gopal Verma's much-anticipated movie 'Phoonk' has come to an end, with the movie finally hitting the theaters. After spending sometime with the underworld, in 'Sarkar' and 'Sarkar Raj', Ramu has come back to his favorite genre - horror. Though we didn't get the same scares as 'Bhoot', 'Phoonk' is definitely a movie that you will enjoying watching in theaters, especially if you like horror flicks.

This time, instead of ghosts, RGV has taken black magic as the center point of his movie. Throughout the time you spend in the theater, the movie holds your attention and does not let you feel bored. In the movie, emphasis has been laid on camera effects, lightning and artifacts, in order to create the right, scary ambience. The background score only serves to add to the whole mystery and horror. One can actually feel the genius of RGV flowing from the movie.

Even from the technical angles, there is nothing about which you can complain. As far as performances go, the child artist Ehsaas is definitely someone who has to be applauded. She plays the part of a girl who seems to have been possessed by an evil spirit, to utmost perfection. Then, there is the Kannada actor Sudeep, who makes an impressive debut in the movie. Even the rest of the cast, including Amruta, has done a good job.

Its a really amazing movie. I think its gonna rock our generation and create a new movie genre all together and a major attraction for the youth. I was so impressed yesterday, after seeing the movie. I couldn't control but blog about it.
