Father spoiling the career of Asin?

It is very common in the film industry for fathers and mothers of young actresses
to also double up as their personal assistants. While the actors may have professional
assistants, it is these dominating and often greedy fathers and mothers who have a
final say.

Aarthi Agarwal is one such example. She was the reigning queen in Tollywood at
one time. But her bossy and greedy father spoilt her chances by demanding huge
sums from potential producers. He used to poke his nose in every affair of Aarthi
and this in turn affected her career in Tollywood in a big way.

The young Asin is now facing a similar problem. Her father is also doubling up as
her personal assistant. He screens all producers and puts forth his often exorbitant
demands.

He does not allow producers to meet her daughter and asks for astronomical sums
to sign her up for their films. The situation is so bad that Asin is unable to sign up
for any film, thanks to the over enthusiasm and greed shown by her father. At
this rate, Asin may not be able to bag any new films in Bollywood, say people
close to her.
